Welcome to my working style guide!
Whether you're a future employer, colleague, or collaborator, this guide will give you insight into how I work and how we can best collaborate.
- Visual Learner: - I absorb information best when presented visually, with big-picture concepts first, followed by details. If you can show me how to use a tool or follow a process, I’ll pick it up quickly. I usually like to review documentation or my notes after learning something new, so I might ask questions a bit later once I’ve had time to process them.
- Direct Communication: - I value clear, direct communication in every aspect of work. It helps us avoid misunderstandings and assumptions, making our collaboration smoother.
- Quick Responses: - I appreciate timely responses. If you're busy, just let me know when I can expect to hear back from you (e.g., “later today” or “by the end of the day”). If someone else is better suited to help, please direct me to them.
- Feedback Focused: - I'm passionate about self-improvement, so I appreciate constructive feedback, especially when it highlights areas where I can improve.
- Independent with Guidance: - I thrive when given clear goals and the freedom to achieve them. While I appreciate the guidance, I’m not a fan of micromanagement—I work best when I can take ownership of my tasks.
- Deadlines Motivate: - I work effectively under deadlines, as they help me stay focused and motivated. However, I prefer a balance, as too many deadlines can be overwhelming.
- Collaborative Approach: - I apply these same principles when I’m on the other side, helping or mentoring others. - I’m also eager to know your working preferences so we can work together effectively!
